Pylon Raises $31 Million in Series B

Pylon, a San Francisco, CA-based support platform for B2B businesses, has raised $31 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding to $51 million. 

Investors 

The round was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Bain Capital Ventures (BCV), with continued participation from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and other existing investors. 

Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is a venture capital firm that backs bold entrepreneurs shaping the future through technology. Founded in 2009, the firm manages multiple funds across stages, sectors, and geographies, with over $46 billion in committed capital. a16z invests in companies at the seed through growth stages across AI, bio + healthcare, consumer, crypto, enterprise, fintech, gaming, infrastructure, and American dynamism. 

Bain Capital Ventures (BCV) is the venture capital arm of Bain Capital, a global private investment firm. BCV is a multi-stage investor, providing capital to B2B software companies from the seed stage through growth rounds. Its investments range from $1 million for early-stage startups to over $100 million for more mature companies. As of March 31, 2025, BCV manages an estimated $9.4 billion in assets.
