Port Raises $18 Million in Series A

Port, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based open internal developer portal, has raised $18 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $23 million.

The round was led by Team8, with participation from seed investor TLV Partners and angel investors, including Yoav Landman, Shlomo Kramer, Aner Mazur, and Eyal Manor. 

Team8 is a global venture group with deep domain expertise that creates companies and invests in companies specializing in enterprise technologies, cyber, AI, fintech, and digital health. Base Founded in 2014 and based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Port Use of Funds

The funding will be used to grow its popular open internal developer portal.

Port offers a developer portal focused on platform engineering. The platform is designed to drive developer self-sufficiency and productivity through reusable self-service flows that abstract complex DevOps processes. Port allows users to define their data models and unify metadata from various sources in the tech stack. The company also launched Port Ocean, an open-source extensibility framework for creating exporters, self-service actions, automation, and integrations. Since Port launched last November, the company has gained hundreds of organizations using its developer portal, including dozens of paying customers.
