The funding round was led by Hermann Futter, with additional participation from Hansi Hansmann and his Hans(wo)men Group.
Hermann Futter is an Austrian entrepreneur and investor, as well as the managing director of Compass Group, a provider of business information in Austria. He has invested in over 50 startups, focusing primarily on B2B SaaS ventures.
Newsrooms Use of Funds
The investment will support further development of newsrooms’ AI tools, expansion into European markets, and integration of acquired media platforms.
