Middleware, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-based cloud observability platform provider, raised $6.5 million in seed funding to advance its mission of simplifying and enhancing cloud observability. The capital infusion will enable the company to revolutionize how businesses utilize observability stacks in the age of AI.
The round was led by 8VC, and joined by Fin Capital, Guillermo Rauch (CEO and founder of Vercel), and Tokyo Black, with participation from notable angel investors and other funds, including Decent Capital, Begin Capital, Beat Venture, and Gokul Rajaram.
The injection of funds will enable Middleware to expand its team, innovate new features, and expand its client base. The company also plans to build an advanced AI advisor based on generative AI to further improve the cloud observability stack.
Middleware's cloud observability platform is designed to aggregate data from diverse sources and leverage machine learning algorithms to detect patterns and anomalies that signify performance issues and other challenges. Moreover, the platform offers actionable recommendations for issue resolution and even automates the remediation process.
