Lovable, a Stockholm, Sweden-based platform that enables anyone to create software, has secured $7.5 million in a pre-seed funding round. 

The company also launched its beta product, GPT Engineer, an AI coding tool that generates production-ready code in real time.

The round was led by Hummingbird and byFounders, along with notable contributions from DeepMind angel operators, AI founders, and investors like Mattias Miksche, Bjarke Klinge Staun, Siavash Ghorbani (Shopify), Fredrik Hjelm (Voi), and Creandum co-founder Stefan Lindeberg. 

Founded in 2010, Hummingbird Ventures is a global early-stage venture capital fund backing outlier founders. Based in Antwerp, Belgium, it was founded in 2010. 

byFounders is a community-powered early-stage venture fund investing in globally ambitious teams connected to the Nordic and Baltic countries. 

Lovable Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to attract top European talent, enhance computing resources, and refine data collection processes.
