Jina, a Berlin, Germany-based open-source neural search company, raised $30 million in Series A funding.
The round was led by Canaan Partners, with participation from Mango Capital, GGV Capital, SAP.iO, and Yunqi Partners. The company has raised $39 million in total.
Jina intends to use the funds to continue research and development on new product categories in building its neural search ecosystem, and to ensure the best user experience in production.
Also plan to double its team by the end of 2022 by setting roots in North America early next year and hiring remote workers to build a global team.
