Jasper, an Austin, TX-based AI-powered content platform, announced that it raised $125 million in Series A funding at a $1.5 billion valuation.
The round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from Coatue, Bessemer Venture Partners, IVP, Foundation Capital, Founders Circle Capital, and HubSpot Ventures.
The funding will be used to further invest in the product, improve the customer experience, and bring Jasper to all the platforms creators use.
The funding follows with the addition of Jasper Art, text-to-image generation functionality. The company's newest innovation is a browser extension that allows Jasper to power every textbox on virtually any site.

Jasper's new Chrome browser extension allows users to execute generative actions. The plugin is available at Jasper.ai and is compatible with Google Docs, Gmail, Notion, HubSpot, Shopify, social media platforms, content management systems, and a variety of other content destinations.
Since its start in January 2021, Jasper has grown rapidly, and it now has over 70,000 paying users ranging from individual creatives to huge enterprise teams.
