Gutsy, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based cybersecurity startup, has raised $51 million in seed funding.

Joining the funding round are prominent cybersecurity executives and founders including George Kurtz (CEO of CrowdStrike), Chenxi Wang (Managing Partner at Rain Capital), Mickey Boodaei (CEO of Transmit Security,) Udi Mokady (Founder of CyberArk), Assaf Rappaport (CEO of Wiz), and others.
Founded in 2007, YL Ventures is a venture capital firm that specializes in seed-stage cybersecurity investments. Based in Silicon Valley, New York, and Tel Aviv, The firm manages five funds with $800M in total assets under management.
Mayfield is an early-stage venture capital firm with $3 billion under management. The firm partners with founders starting at the inception stage to help build their enterprise, AI-first, deep-tech, and human and planetary health companies. Founded in 1969 and is based in Menlo Park, CA.
