Greeneye Technology, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based AI-enabled precision spraying technology aimed at reducing herbicide use in farming, has raised $20 million in funding, bringing its total raised to more than $45 million.

The round was led by Israeli investment company Deep Insight, with support from existing investors Syngenta Group Ventures, JVP, Orbia Ventures, and Eyal Waldman, founder and former CEO of Mellanox (now part of Nvidia), as well as new investors including Iron Nation and Amol Deshpande, founder and former CEO of FBN.
Deep Insight is a venture fund that invests in deep tech at all stages and across all sectors. It was founded in 2021 and is based in Herzliya, Israel.
Greeneye Technology Use of Funds
The company will use the funding to scale its operation in the U.S. It will also advance the technology's analytical capabilities and extend its usage to new inputs and crops. The next phase of expansion will involve deploying dozens more systems in farmers' fields targeting the 200 million acres of corn, soybean, and cotton grown in the U.S.
