by Kay Aloha Villamor in June 16th, 2023

Glystn, a San Francisco, CA-based startup that provides an AI-driven tool for creators and businesses to manage the community on social media platforms, launched its web app and secured $4 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Eniac Ventures, Hannah Grey VC, and Future Perfect Ventures, with additional backing from angels Michael Spiegelman, Netflix's VP of content and business product innovation, and Craig Sherman, managing director of Meritech.

The recent funding will primarily be allocated to further developing the product, which aims to introduce a tiered subscription model catering to solo creators, larger creators with over one million followers, and brands. The company is currently offering a free trial to users.

Described as a "community engagement engine," Glystn provides content creators with a tool that allows them to interact with their followers, gather insights, and manage comments from multiple social media platforms in one place.

The platform utilizes machine learning and artificial intelligence to scan and categorize thousands of comments and threads from Discord and YouTube, helping influencers identify trending topics within their community. Users can access various analytics, such as top messages, repeat engagers, and trending segments or videos.

Glystn currently integrates with Discord and YouTube, with plans to add more social media platforms in the future.
