Dashbot, a Tampa, FL-based company using AI to gather key insights from conversational data, raised $6 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $14 million.
The round was led by Florida Funders, a Tampa-based venture capital firm, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and a roster of returning and new investors.
The funds will be used to expand its efforts to meet sales demand and to continue product evolution and development.
“We’re excited to continue scaling to meet the current demand with this new round of funding,” Dashbot CEO Andrew Hong states in the release. “Conversational AI adoption exploded with the pandemic across nearly every industry, and businesses were largely in the dark. Now, they can communicate better with their customers using AI.”
