Cyera Raises $300 Million in Series C

Cyera, a New York-based company specializing in an AI-based data security platform, has raised $300 million in Series C funding, bringing its total funding to $460 million. 


The round was led by Coatue, with participation from new investors such as Spark Capital, Georgian, and strategic backer AT&T Ventures. Existing investors Sequoia, Accel, Redpoint, and Cyberstarts also contributed to the round. 

Founded in 1999, Coatue Management is a private equity firm based in New York, New York. Coatue invests in public and private equity markets, focusing on the technology, media, and telecommunications industries. 

Cyera Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to further develop its offerings, aiming to enhance its data security platform for customers. Additionally, the funds may be allocated towards scaling operations, hiring additional talent, and potentially expanding its market reach.
