Clay Secures $46 Million in Series B

Clay, a New York, NY-based AI startup focused on sales and marketing for businesses, has secured $46 million in Series B financing, bringing its total funding to $62 million. 

Investors 

The round was led by Meritech Capital, with support from existing backers including Sequoia Capital, First Round Capital, Box Group, and Boldstart Ventures. 

Founded in 1999, Meritech Capital Partners is a venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. The firm seeks to invest in later-stage and growth-stage companies operating in the software, communication, and networking sectors. It is a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA). 

Clay Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to fuel its growth and expand its engineering and go-to-market teams.
