Bisly, a Tallinn, Estonia-based intelligent building startup, raised €3.6 million in a funding round.
The round was led by Aconterra, a Belgian Smart Building Technology VC fund, with participation from Second Century Ventures, REACH UK, SmartCap Green Fund I, and Pinorena Capital, along with several angel investors.
Founded in 2019, Aconterra Capital Partners is a venture capital firm based in Antwerpen, Belgium. The firm seeks to invest in technology, platforms, processes, and applications which contribute to smart homes, and buildings, and connect people based in Western and Northern Europe and the United States.
Bisly Use of Funds
The company will use the funding to support its expansion efforts in Europe, with a focus on the Nordic countries, the DACH region, and the UK.
Bisly is a software developer of intelligent building solutions. Its intelligent building platform allows real estate developers, funds, and owners to meet new EU net-zero standards at costs similar to conventional construction and management practices. Bisly offers either a low monthly Software as a Service (SaaS) fee combined with a one-time installation fee for residential projects, or a slightly higher monthly SaaS fee and no upfront costs for commercial projects.
