Birdseye Raises $3 Million in Seed Round

Birdseye, a Toronto, Canada-based AI company that builds AI software for eCommerce businesses to help them scale and grow, has raised $3 million ($4.1 million CAD) in seed funding.

The seed round was led by Drive Capital.

Drive Capital is a venture capital firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The firm is investing in the world’s next generation of market-defining companies. Since Drive's inception in 2013, the firm has raised $2B of funds to invest in startups solving important problems in large markets. The firm prefers to invest in seed-stage, early-stage, and later-stage companies. 

Birdseye Use of Funds

The company will use the funds to further develop the technology and expand the company's reach.

Founded in 2021 by brothers Matt and Adam Bogoroch, along with Shardul Frey, Birdseye aims to help retailers hyper-personalize their marketing campaigns using an AI algorithm trained on large amounts of retail transaction data. Birdseye is an ecommerce analytics platform that enables growing Shopify brands to improve their marketing and advertising efforts. The platform integrates with data from various e-commerce and social media platforms, including Shopify, Google, TikTok, Meta, and Klaviyo.
