Atmen Raises €5 Million in Seed Round

Atmen, a Munich, Germany-based regulatory tech startup that provides data-driven certification platform, has raised €5 million in seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by Project A, with participation from Revent, Vireo Ventures, and angel investors including Axel Stepken, Martina Merz, and Christian Vollmann. 

Founded in 2012, Project A Ventures is a Berlin-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology companies. The firm provides both capital and operational support to startups. 

Atmen Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to support its expansion across European industrial sectors, enhance its certification platform, and help industries meet evolving decarbonization regulations. 

About Atmen 

Founded in early 2023, Atmen offers a platform that automates sustainability certification by integrating directly into industrial workflows. It enables companies to verify product origins and environmental attributes using real-time, granular data rather than periodic sampling or spreadsheets. The company’s flagship platform, Automate, is already deployed across industrial facilities in nine countries and works with five leading certification bodies, including TÜV NORD. Clients include Lhyfe, Schneider Electric, and Energy & Regulation Partners.
